Progress Room ManagerJob Type: 37 hours per week, term time only + 5 training days
Salary: Grade E SCP 6- £19,171-£19,945 per annum. Actual Pro rata Salary £16,361-£17,022
The Progress Room Manager plays a pivotal role, supervising, coordinating on a daily basis and managing a well-run and highly disciplined Progress Room. The aim of this is to enable students with behavioural problems to continue to learn and to improve their behaviour without disrupting the learning of others.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual to join us in the role of Progress Room Manager who will ensure that students are effectively supervised and will create a calm and positive environment in which students can learn and high standards of behaviour can be achieved and maintained.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a knowledge of varied approaches to behaviour management and de-escalation techniques, be emotionally resilient and able to build trusting, appropriate relationships with the young people they support.
