Year 12 A'Level Psychology students have been out and about investigating human behaviour in school today. Students from year 7 upwards volunteered to take part in the experiments, giving them experience of what it's like to be a participant in a psychology experiment. One team of student psychologists were investigating criminal stereotypes by asking students to match photos of potential offenders to descriptions of criminal acts. Another team of students were investigating... how different musical genres affect moods and emotions. The potential findings of both experiments could be very useful. Wouldn't it be great if they found that you could use songs like Rick Astley's 'Never gonna give you up' to lift people's mood when they are feeling down or use Justin Bieber's songs to play to people in police custody to exact a speedy confession!!!!
