Homework

Homework is a hugely important tool in supporting and furthering learning. When completed well, it helps to embed knowledge and leads to secure understanding. It also helps students to organise themselves and manage their time, teaching them the value of planning and preparation. At Harrogate High, students receive regular homework across the range of subjects. Homework is set by teachers on ClassCharts so that parents/carers and students can easily access instructions and deadlines, as well as resources needed. Homework timetables are published each half-term and can be found below.
