Design and Technology TechnicianJob Type: 25 hours per week, Term Time Only. Monday to Friday, 9am – 2pm

We are looking for a flexible, dynamic and knowledgeable technician to support learning within all areas of Design & Technology, including Resistant Materials, Textiles and Food Technology at Harrogate High School.
Your main tasks will consist of:
You will be independent and organised with the ability to take initiative to best support teachers and students within the Design Technology department. You will have relevant experience or an interest in an element of the subject (Product Design, Hospitality & Catering or Textiles). You will be willing to complete training within school to attain DATA training certificates for workshop machinery and other relevant safety certificates. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to relate well to students and staff of all levels.
Personal Care AssistantJob Type: 30 hours per week. Term time only plus 5 training days
Salary: Salary range – NSAT Grade B (£ 18,198 FTE per annum). Actual salary - £ 12,813 per annum
We are looking to appoint a confident, effective and highly motivated Personal Care Assistant to support new students commencing their secondary school experience. The role will require you to work alongside students who require additional support to access our exciting and varied curriculum, providing support both physically and emotionally to support a successful transition and academic progress. Applicants should be kind, resilient and patient with a good sense of humour and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. The desire to see each student flourish and reach their full potential using a variety of support strategies is crucial.
