Harrogate High School are seeking to recruit an outstanding and passionate SENCo or aspiring SENCo to join our strong, vibrant staff team to lead our Learning Support & Inclusion provision.  This an exciting opportunity for those with a strong enthusiasm for working with SEND students and as we our curriculum we would welcome applicants from both Primary and Secondary phases. This is an important post within the school’s leadership team working closely with the Senior Leaders for Inclusion and Attitudes and Behaviour, Safeguarding and Inclusion Officer, Hub Leader and Inclusion Staff to shape and develop our inclusive offer. The Specialist Leader for Access and Inclusion for the Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon Locality will assume a pivotal role in spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing student attendance across Primary and Secondary schools. This strategic position necessitates close collaboration with the Local Authority, school leaders, attendance officers, and all stakeholders to combat persistent absenteeism, harmonise attendance policies, and offer specialised support for students with Special Educational Needs.
