You will need to be able to demonstrate flexibility and an enthusiasm to learn and have experience of working in an administrative capacity previously. This role involves teamwork and the ability to manage and prioritise own workloads, and a willingness to support work in other schools within the Trust. We are seeking to recruit an Attendance & Careers Officer. We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual, who is highly organised and motivated, who will make a positive and valuable contribution to Harrogate High School.
The Attendance & Careers Officer will provide administrative support to the Attendance Team and will ensure the careers programme in school is effectively implemented, guided by the Deputy Headteacher and Careers Adviser to organise careers events, and ensure students receive careers-related information.

Cover SupervisorJob Type: Monday to Friday 07:45am – 2:45pm 32.5 hours per week. Term Time Only (plus 5 training days)
Salary: Grade: D (SCP 4 – 6) £21,189- £21,968 FTE (actual salary £15,885 - £16,469)
We require a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. The post holder will work under the guidance of the Cover and Attendance Officer to ensure the provision of adequate cover in the event of staff absence. This post holder will take the lead in covering lessons and covering the short term absence of a teacher by taking registration and delivering learning activities to students within an agreed system of supervision, adjusting activities according to student responses/needs.
The post holder may also support the Examinations and Careers Officer to prepare for examinations, act as an invigilator, and to support the Attendance Lead with administrative tasks.
Personal Care AssistantJob Type: 30 hours per week. Term time only plus 5 training days
Salary: NSAT Grade B SCP 2(£ 18,516 FTE per annum). Actual salary - £ 12,813 per annum.

We are looking to appoint a confident, effective and highly motivated Personal Care Assistant to support new students commencing their secondary school experience. The role will require you to work alongside students who require additional support to access our exciting and varied curriculum, providing support both physically and emotionally to support a successful transition and academic progress. Applicants should be kind, resilient and patient with a good sense of humour and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. The desire to see each student flourish and reach their full potential using a variety of support strategies is crucial. The successful candidate will have an awareness of safeguarding procedures within school and have had experience appropriate to working with children.
