Higher Level Teaching AssistantJob Type: Permanent. Full-Time.
Salary: NJC Grade G, scale point 13 - 18. £26,873 - £29,269. Actual Salary: £23038.41 - £25,092.52

Description:

We are looking to appoint a confident, effective and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with an emphasis on Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) support, who will make a positive contribution to the achievement of all of our students. The role will require you to work alongside students in all year groups and provide support and guidance both socially and emotionally, but also to support academic progress. Applicants should be kind, resilient and patient with a good sense of humour, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. The desire to see each student flourish and reach their full potential using a variety of support strategies is crucial. The successful candidate will have an awareness of safeguarding procedures within school, hold a relevant HLTA qualification and have had experience appropriate to working with children.

Student Support OfficerJob Type: Permanent. Full-Time.
Salary: NJC Grade H (SCP 18 – 23) £26,873 – £29,269 FTE. Actual Salary £23,605 - £25,710.)

Description:

We are looking for a student support officer to join our school starting September 2024. This is a full-time, term-time (plus 2 weeks, which includes 5 training days) only post. The post holder will support students by removing barriers to their learning and monitoring their academic progress by promoting effective participation, enhancing individual learning and raising aspirations to achieve their full potential.

We offer a high quality induction programme for all new staff and provide regular, continuous professional development of the highest standard. We expect all staff to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. This post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
