Learning Director of EnglishJob Type:

As Learning Director of English you will be fully supported by an experienced team of English teachers who share a vision of excellent teaching and learning founded on collaborative planning, assessment and instruction, and who help each other to continually improve practice. We have an open-door culture and reflective ethos where we use lesson study to learn from each other.
You will be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning and personalisation strategies and be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of monitoring and evaluating whilst improving the standard of achievement for all students. You will be confident in your abilities to teach effectively across all Key Stages. You will be adept in creating a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for students of all diverse backgrounds.
